The Solution
With the collaboration of M&P Express Logistics, Falcon-i developed an IoT-enabled customized fleet management solution to meet the precise needs in cargo handling regarding temperature-sensitive logistics and enhance driver safety.
- Temperature Sensors
Each vehicle was equipped with three independent sensors that monitored and controlled multiple temperature zones. This enabled M&P to provide real-time data on how to maintain the precise environment required for each type of sensitive cargo, thereby assuring product integrity even at very long transit times.
- Door Sensors
Door sensors continuously monitor cargo access. Real-time alerts were received in case of unauthorized access, thereby preventing tampering, contamination, or mishandling. This ensured higher levels of cargo security and quality control.
- Panic Button
To ensure the safety of the drivers, Falcon-i installed an emergency panic button in every vehicle. The panic button was an instant means of getting help when accidents, threats, or breakdowns occurred, and support was just a button away.
